About Mestre Zé de Freitas
Mestre José de Freitas trained in Salvador with Mestre Caiçara and later with Mestre Waldemar (where he became contramestre). At the end of the 1950’s he travelled to Sao Paulo (in Brás) to give classes. Later he moved his academia to Santo André, ABC and now he’s located in Natal.
