About Mestre Nem

Mestre Nem made several cd’s (all named Artes das Gerais). He started with capoeira at the age of ten with Mestre Toninho. After two years of hard training he joined Mestre Reinaldo’s (Kisuko) school. In 1992 Mestre Nem and some other Capoeiristas founded the group “Centro de Cultura Capoeira Artes das Gerais” in Belo Horizonte . Four months later Mestre Nem went to Germany where he began to teach Capoeira in Berlin . This group in Berlin today has about 50 students. In 1996 Mestre Nem moved from Berlin to Hamburg , where he continues to live.
